How This Tool Works
The Job Offer Evaluator calculates total compensation by adding the monetary value of each benefit to your base salary, then subtracts the estimated cost and time value of your commute to give you a true net annual value.
- Pension value — estimated at 8% of salary for employer matching
- Extended health — estimated at $4,200/yr replacement value
- Dental — estimated at $1,800/yr replacement value
- Vacation value — calculated based on your daily rate
- Commute cost — driving $0.65/min, transit $0.25/min
