By accessing or using VicJobs.ca you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms please do not use the site.
2. What VicJobs.ca Is
VicJobs.ca is a job board platform connecting job seekers and employers in Greater Victoria, BC. We are not an employment agency and are not party to any employment relationship between job seekers and employers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of any job listing.
3. For Job Seekers
- Job listings are provided for informational purposes only
- We do not verify the accuracy of employer-submitted listings
- Always research an employer before applying or sharing personal information
- We are not responsible for the outcome of any job application
- Some listings may be sourced from third parties such as Job Bank and may be expired or filled
4. For Employers
- You must only post genuine job opportunities for positions based in Greater Victoria, BC
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your job posting
- You must not post discriminatory, misleading or fraudulent listings
- Listings must comply with BC Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Code
- We reserve the right to remove any listing at our discretion without notice
- Free listings may be removed after 30 days
5. Prohibited Content
You must not use VicJobs.ca to post or promote:
- Fraudulent, misleading or scam job offers
- Multi-level marketing or pyramid scheme opportunities
- Jobs requiring upfront payment from applicants
- Content that violates BC or Canadian law
- Discriminatory content based on protected characteristics
- Jobs located outside Greater Victoria, BC
6. Third Party Content
Some listings on VicJobs.ca are sourced from publicly available sources including the Government of Canada Job Bank under the Open Government Licence. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee all third party listings are current or accurate.
7. Intellectual Property
The VicJobs.ca name, logo and website design are owned by VicJobs.ca. Job listing content submitted by employers remains the property of the employer. You may not scrape, copy or reproduce content from VicJobs.ca without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
VicJobs.ca is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, reliance on job listings, or interactions with employers or job seekers through the platform.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of VicJobs.ca after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
